A traditional bracelet originating from Viana do Castelo in northern Portugal.  A beautiful nod to fine Portuguese craftsmanship, this Conta de Viana Bracelet is strung with 23 beads.  The intricate filigree detailing of each bead is associated to the traditional rosary beads.  Many regarded this necklace as a mark of achievement and a wealthy dowry.
